Tanzanian In Technology

As of 10th March 2023, we are at a point in our lives where technology has been integrated into our ecosystems and ingrained as a part of humankind. Undoubtedly, technology has proven an essential ally in fields such as education (Edu-Tech), finance with FinTech and the likes of blockchain, and agriculture with AgriTech. But these are just to name a few....
Tanzania has finally arrived on the tech scene (we love to see it), take a moment to applaud yourself as a Tanzanian reading this. Our nation has been able to marry technology across several fields them being agriculture, finance & banking, healthcare, marine, etc simplifying the lives of many its inhabitants – myself included.
Disclaimer: I am not a tech expert whatsoever. However, my interest in the power that technology possesses and how fellow Tanzanians have harnessed that power, drove me to start Tanzanian In Tech; a blog that will focus on researching, outlining, analyzing, and reporting on a plethora of tech-related topics. I have questions running through my mind such as:
How do banks maintain their online transaction systems?
What software do investors use to make "calculated" risks and what was the process like from conception to final product?
What challenges do (Tanzanian) start-ups face when trying to break into the space with their products?
What policies should be imposed to allow the scaling of Agri-Tech?
Have we created applications of Artificial Intelligence in Tanzania that we can call our own?
In addition to the above, the blog will also feature my journey teaching myself Python programming language, the project builds and researching on web3 and blockchain. Join me as I step into the tech joyride and transform the lives of millions.
